連接代詞:
疑問代詞在引起從句時，都稱為連接代詞，包括who, whom, whose, what, which, whoever,whomever, whichever, whatever。
即除了whose后不能加“-ever”后綴，其余都行。
例： I don't know who she is.
I don’t know when he will come.
連接代詞引起從句：
a.主語從句：
It hasn’t been announced who won the prizes.還沒宣布誰獲獎。
It is clear enough what she meant. 她是什么意思很清楚。
b.賓語從句：
I don’t care what they think. 他們怎么想我不管。
Ask her which he wants. 問她要哪一個。
c.表語從句：
The question is who(m) we should trust.問題是我們應當相信誰。
What I want to know is which road we should take.我想知道的是我們應走哪條路。
d.狀語從句
Wherever you go, whatever you do, I will be right here waiting for you.無論你去哪里，無論你做了什么，我都會在這里等你。
e.連代詞還可引起不定式，都用作賓語或介詞的賓語：
Tell him what to do. 告訴他怎樣做。
Lucy can’t decide which to choose. 露西不能決定選哪個好。
They exchanged views on the question of whom to elect. 他們就該選誰的問題交換了意見。
