副詞的最高級：
用于三個(gè)或三個(gè)以上的人或事物的比較，結(jié)構(gòu)為：“the+副詞最高級+比較范圍”，意為“最……”。
副詞最高級的變化規(guī)律：
1. 單音節(jié)副詞后面直接加-est
tall—tallest fast—fastest
2. 以-e結(jié)尾的單音節(jié)副詞直接加-st
large—largest nice—nicest
3. 以-y結(jié)尾的副詞，改-y為-i再加-est
busy—busiest early—earliest
4. 副詞是重讀閉音節(jié)時(shí)，雙寫最后的輔音字母，再加-est
hot—hottest big—biggest
5. 多音節(jié)副詞前面直接加most
delicious—most delicious
beautiful—most beautiful
6. 不規(guī)則變化

副詞最高級的用法：
副詞最高級可修飾動詞，前面多數(shù)不帶定冠詞the:
He laughs best who laughs last. (諺語) 誰笑在最后誰笑的最好。
Of the four of us, I sang (the) worst. 我們四人中我唱的最差。
Of these sports, I like rowing most. 這些運(yùn)動中我最喜歡劃船。
He went (the) farthest of the explorers. 這些探險(xiǎn)家中他走的最遠(yuǎn)。
He likes painting best of all. 他最喜歡繪畫。
Who arrived (the) earliest of all? 誰到的最早？
She behaved most generously. 她表現(xiàn)的最大方。
副詞比較級和最高級的一些特殊用法
副詞比較級和最高級還可用在一些特別結(jié)構(gòu)或短語中：
1）more and more 越來越…:
It rained more and more heavily. 雨下得越來越大了。
In need, she liked him more and more. 的確她越來越喜歡他了。
She went farther and farther away. 她越走越遠(yuǎn)了。
2）the more…the more 越…，越…：
The more I work, the more I accomplish. 我干得越多，完成的就越多。
The more I thought, the more extraordinary did it appear. 我越想，這事就越顯得離奇。
